Floating gradients redefine space
— Lineview’s new installation in Milan —
Anonimo Design Co., Ltd. will present its strings curtain Lineview at Milano Design Week 2026, from 21 to 26 April, in the Tortona district of Milan at via Tortona 5. This marks the third presentation of Lineview in Milan.
This year's installation draws inspiration from the Japanese wisteria trellis, creating a layered expression of soft color and light. By applying DANZOME gradient dyeing to a translucent string material, the installation is designed to change with light and viewpoint, giving the space a floating and atmospheric presence.
Lineview is a strings curtain developed from Raschel knitting techniques cultivated in Kiryu, Gunma, Japan. Its uniform threads, elegant drape, and high transparency make it possible to divide space while preserving openness.
By combining traditional Japanese dyeing know-how with contemporary spatial design, Lineview introduces subtle tonal variation to each strand and creates rhythm, depth, and softness throughout the environment.
In 2024, Lineview digital print presented gradient expression as a surface installation. In 2025, the presentation evolved into an enveloping spatial experience. In 2026, the concept develops further into an installation that appears to descend into space, using the image of a wisteria trellis as its central motif.
